About Fordona

Fordona is a new technology startup on a mission to redefine driving education in Sweden. We’re building a digital platform that connects students with certified driving schools and leverages AI-driven tools to personalize the learning journey, offer interactive theory training, and create a smoother, smarter way to learn driving.

We’re a small, ambitious team combining product design, engineering, and AI to transform how people learn to drive. Every line of code you write will help make driving education more accessible, engaging, and data-driven.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and experiment with ML models for theory training, question recommendation, and student performance insights.

  • Work with real-world datasets — cleaning, analyzing, and preparing data for model training.

  • Help design APIs and backend systems that integrate ML into our core platform.

  • Stay up to date on new techniques in deep learning, NLP, and recommender systems.

  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product researchers to bring AI features from concept to prototype.

What We’re Looking For

  • Studying or recently graduated in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.

  • Solid programming skills in Python (familiarity with libraries like NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow is a big plus).

  • Understanding of machine learning fundamentals, data preprocessing, model training, evaluation, and tuning.

  • Eagerness to learn, experiment, and take ownership of projects.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience with natural language processing (NLP), LLMs, or recommendation systems.

  • Familiarity with MLOps, Docker, or cloud tools (AWS/GCP).

  • Experience with LangChain, Hugging Face, or other modern AI frameworks.
